Readers of Minnesota Litigator may recall that counsel for plaintiffs in the Akanthos v. CompuCredit lawsuit undoubtedly ruined holiday plans for some (but, on the plus side, helped lawyers bill hours in the closing days of a very bad year for many law firms) with a pre-Christmas “emergency motion” for expedited discovery.
Plaintiffs were rebuffed and, at the end of last week, rebuffed again.
